SCHOOL RULES & REGULATIONS

To ensure the smooth functioning of the school and to maintain a high level of discipline, the school has a set of rules and regulations. These rules and regulations are framed for the all-round and holistic development of all students of the school.
Therefore, we seek the full support of all stakeholders so that the school can provide the best environment to groom students into responsible, reliable, valiant, humane, and honest future citizens equipped with strong social and moral values.
DISCIPLINE
Students are expected to maintain a high level of discipline. Any form of misconduct, violation, or breach of school rules will be dealt with strictly. Depending on the severity of the offence, disciplinary action may be taken, which may also include expulsion from school.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
The school uniform is an essential part of the school’s identity and is designed to promote confidence, equality, and discipline among students.
KINDERGARTEN (Nursery, KG & UKG)

- Socks (As per prescribed colour)
CLASS 1st TO 5th
- White Shirt, Dark Grey Trousers
- Full Sleeve / Half Sleeve Sweater
- Tie / Cravat
- Dark Navy Blue Blazer
- School T-Shirt / House T-Shirt
- Navy Blue Track Suit
- White & Black Shoes
- White/Blue Socks
- School Belt
- Hostel Uniform (Night suits for boarding students)
Note: All uniform items must be tagged with the boarding number provided by the school. It is mandatory to follow the dress code strictly as per the school schedule.
HEALTH AND MEDICAL
- The school provides round-the-clock in-house medical facilities.
- In case of serious illness, students may be taken to the nearest private or government hospital.
- The school has the right to send a child home for medical consultation/treatment if required.
- A medical fitness certificate must be submitted at the time of hostel admission.
- If a child is on regular medication, it must be submitted to the school nurse/medical in-charge. Students are NOT allowed to keep medicines with them.
- Parents must share any past medical history along with a fitness certificate at the time of admission.
- Medical expenses, first aid, and transportation (if taken outside the school) will be deducted from the student’s imprest amount.
COMMUNICATION / PHONE CALLS
- Students may call parents as per a predefined schedule. The duration of calls is fixed by the school and calls are made from the school only.
- Special-occasion calls (e.g., birthdays) may also be allowed.
- Important updates are shared through the School ERP App and Class WhatsApp Groups.
- Parents must update the school immediately if contact numbers change.
- In emergencies, parents may contact the school office.
LEAVES, HOLIDAYS & SCHOOL SESSION
The school observes Winter Bound Schedule from 1st January to 10th February. Summer Break, Diwali Break, and Winter Break are part of the academic calendar.
- Leave requests must be applied for in advance and are sanctioned only by the Principal.
- Medical leave for long absence requires a medical certificate.
- Exceeding sanctioned leaves may result in a fine/penalty.
- No leave will be granted during examination preparatory days (PAs & Term 1/2).
Disciplinary Actions for Misconduct Include:
- Expulsion from school
- Entry of misconduct in personal dossier
- Recovery of damage cost (individual or group)
Examples of Misconduct Subject to Penalty:
- Ragging, bullying, or physical assault
- Damaging school property
- Carrying mess items/eatables into hostels
- Using abusive language, lying, forging signatures
- Wasting food, breaking mess rules
- Possession of prohibited items: mobile phones, electronics, cash, junk food, etc.
- Stealing, damaging others’ belongings
- Skipping classes or sports
- Provoking others for undesirable behaviour
- Entering prohibited areas
If damage occurs and the defaulter is unidentified, the penalty will be charged collectively.
RAGGING / BULLYING
The school follows a Zero-Tolerance Policy. Any act of ragging or bullying may lead to immediate expulsion. Students and parents must sign an Anti-Ragging Undertaking. If the offender is not identified, collective punishment may be applied. Ragging/bullying may also attract legal action as per Supreme Court guidelines.
FOOD / EATABLES
- Parents are NOT allowed to provide any eatables while dropping students at the hostel. Violations will lead to penalties.
- Only school-approved homemade food items are allowed.
- Junk food brought by any student will result in a fine.
- Optional lunch/refreshments may be provided to Day-Boarding students.
PARENTS’ VISIT & STUDENTS’ OUTING
- Parents may visit on the second Saturday or any other day specified by the school.
- Students may go for night-outs (optional) but must return before regular school time the next day.
- Only authorized persons listed in the student’s form may meet the student.
- Emergency visits require prior permission from the Principal.
PARTICIPATION IN GAMES / ACTIVITIES / EXCURSIONS
Participation in games, sports, and co-curricular activities is mandatory for every student. The school organizes excursions, adventure trips, and educational tours periodically. These activities are part of the pre-agreed undertaking from parents; individual permission will not be sought. Expenses for excursions/outings will be charged separately and adjusted from the student’s imprest amount or collected from Day-Boarders.
