Education is globally endorsed as the most powerful weapon to change the world. But have you ever thought, what if young minds are devoid of social and moral values, termed as ‘SAMSKARAS’? Are we not overemphasizing making our children doctors, businessmen, engineers, entrepreneurs, and scientists, etc.? Lessons and teaching of social and moral values have been buried in oblivion.
In a swiftly changing modern and mechanical world, as parents, we want to see our child as a well-settled and self-reliant person. One must never forget that a highly educated and top-ranked person may be very influential but not necessarily a man of character and values. Imparting education without values can be as perilous as an unsystematically architectured reservoir, which may result in unprecedented devastation.
Consequently, an intellectual mind with an ocean of knowledge but devoid of a disposition towards philanthropy, courteousness, and affability will lead one to adopt unrighteous and nefarious means of accomplishing their aspirations.
